Master of Business Administration | Business Management | ylempi AMK

The aim of the Master’s Degree Programme in Business Management is to provide you with the competences needed in the management positions in a demanding global business environment. The core content of the programme provides competences mainly for general management positions, but also leadership skills for executive management of special functions such as sales, marketing, production, development, financial or human resources management. 

The Master’s Degree Programme in Business Management is targeted to managers or experts with several years of work experience who want to further enhance their knowhow in management. The programme is particularly targeted at individuals who are aiming at a management position.  

Studies in Business Management

Business Management programme includes advanced studies in research and development methods as well as in strategies, management and leadership. Students will deepen their competence in fields of management of networks, business relationships and international projects. They can focus on the strategic management and leadership, innovative processes, partnerships and networks.

Career opportunities

Suitable positions of a MBA graduate are for example:

  • Export or Marketing Manager
  • Business Development Manager or Expert
  • Manager or Expert of Supply Chain System processes and operations
  • Human Resource Manager or Expert
  • Customer Relationships Manager
  • International Project Manager

Entry requirement to the Master's degree programme is a minimum of two years’ relevant work experience gained after a suitable higher education degree completed in Finland or abroad or a Finnish post-secondary or higher vocational level diploma.
