Cybersecurity for Blockchain | Summer School
Blockchain digital technology is gaining traction nowadays in different industrial domains such as healthcare, manufacturing, finance, energy, private and public services. However, blockchain raises many security challenges. We will discuss these challenges and assess the related security practices showing the potential security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities.
The programme will also compare the security assessment approaches methodologies used in centralized and decentralized platforms. For example, the program will discuss the distributed ledger technology (DLT) evolution and how it may impact the security and privacy postures for private and public sectors. Moreover, the course will provide blockchain maturity assessment in the scope of the CIA triad information security model (i.e., confidentiality, integrity, and availability).
